Zhauna franks

Artistic Director

Swan Song Studies marks Zhauna's 6th full evening length production.

Previous productions: The Dream Channel: Episodes 1 & 2 at The Ritz Theater, Episode 3 (in 3D) at Open Eye Figure Theatre, Her Hysterical Nostalgia (Open Eye Figure Theatre) and Beauty and the Beast (Minneapolis Fringe- Best Dance Production-Audience Choice Award),.

In New York Zhauna was featured in over 500 shows over 3 years with the award winning off-broadway immersive productions Sleep No More- Punchdrunk and Then She Fell- Third Rail Projects. She was an original member of Ballet of the Dolls for 25 years appearing in over 100 original productions and Associate Artistic Director for 8 years. 

Stephanie Fellner

A member Ballet of the Dolls for 20 years. She has also performed with James Sewell Ballet

and was a founding member of T.U. Dance. In 2005, Ms. Fellner was awarded the McKnight Fellowship for Dancers. Named an “essential collaborator” by Zhauna Franks, she has been in every one of her productions thus far.

 
 

Kevin McCormick

 A artist and designer based in New York City. Credits include featured rolls with: Ballet of the Dolls, The Jungle Theater, The Guthrie Theater, Children’s Theatre Co., and The Eye of the Storm and Strange Loop Projects. Elated to be back for his 4th Franks project with these longtime partners on stage and in life.

 

Robert Skafte

Long time member of BOD and over the years has created many fantastic theatrical worlds with these folks, happy to be reunited. In 2008, he founded the Stevens Square Farmers Market which is still going strong every Wednesday all summer!

 

Daron Walker

Loves music.  He’s created in Dance, Theatre, Film and Television, from performance art pieces where the cast outnumbers the audience to TV commercials for turkey.  Mostly, he likes to make stuff.
